"The hard work and dedication that went into their impressive 28-1 season is truly commendable," said McColley. "High School athletics is an excellent forum to learn many of the skills that are important in life. Teamwork, purpose, dedication and other valuable skills were clearly demonstrated by this team, and I hope to see them here again in the future."
Led by Crestview seniors Javin Etzler, Wade Sheets, Drew Kline, Colton Lautzenheiser, Brant Richardson, Derick Dealey, Brock Stauffer, and Kole Small, the Knights defeated Berlin Hiland by a score of 58 - 38 in the State Championship game.
