COLUMBUS—Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) announced the Ohio Controlling Board approved $58,752,504 from the All Ohio Future Fund towards the Coshocton County Port Authority development site.

"Providing support to Coshocton County in redeveloping this site significantly impacts the economic opportunities available to the entire region," said Brenner. "Ensuring that businesses are given the support and infrastructure they need to grow and thrive is a hallmark of good government. I look forward to seeing this project's completion and the benefits it will bring to the 19th Senate District."

Funding allocated to this project will be used to provide substantial infrastructure development and upgrades to an over 2,000 acre site within the existing Conesville Power Plant brownfield area. Updates to the project area include site preparation, surface transportation improvements, and upgrades to water and wastewater service. Additionally, tax revenue generated from the investments of businesses as a result of this project will provide support to the surrounding local school systems.

The All Ohio Future Fund, which will help to fund the project, was established in the 2024-25 state operating budget, supported by Senator Brenner. The fund represented a $750 million investment to support local communities with site-readiness and preparation to attract economic development projects. The funds are administered through the Ohio Department of Development.
