COLUMBUS - State Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) urges eligible entities to apply for $2.7 million in water quality project grants from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The deadline for applications is November 9.
"Improving and maintaining water quality has been a priority of mine and other local elected officials in my district," Brenner said. "These funds can help our local partners complete projects that preserve our rivers and streams."
Local governments, park districts, soil and water conservation districts, and other public organizations can apply for these grant dollars. Funding for the grant program is available through the federal Clean Water Act.
The application is available on the Ohio EPA website.
