COLUMBUS—State Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Powell) this week was appointed by Senate President Larry Obhof to the following committees for the 133rd General Assembly:
In order to make hearings as accessible as possible, many committees are streamed live and archived on the Senate's website, which you can access by clicking here.
"I am also appreciative that President Obhof will give me the opportunity to be heard on the finance subcommittee. Those I represented previously in the 67th House District know that I have been fighting for fair school funding for many years now. We have to make a change as property taxes get out of control in some of these high-growth areas, all because the districts are not receiving money for the new students. I also represent urban and rural districts that have their own challenges. I have a passion for solving education issues and look forward to continuing to make a positive change for these students, their families, and all Ohioans."
