COLUMBUS—State Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) today reminded parents that the Afterschool Childcare Enrichment (ACE) Educational Savings Account program is still active and open for applications until the end of the current academic year.
The ACE Educational Savings Account provides qualifying families with a $500 credit to be used for a variety of before- or after-school enrichment activities for students between the ages of 6 and 18 years old.
"After-school and similar educational enrichment programs are even more valuable now as students work to overcome the effects that COVID-19 had on our education system," Brenner said. "I highly encourage all eligible families to apply and take advantage of this credit for their children."
Funds from the ACE Account can be used for a variety of programs including before- or after-school educational programs, day camps, tuition for learning centers, and tutoring.
