Senator Brenner Congratulates Paul Craft For Appointment To DoWEA

COLUMBUS—State Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) congratulates Paul Craft for being named the Director of the Department of War Education Activity, a federal school system responsible for education of the children of military service members.

“Paul Craft has been a fixture in our community and state for decades, serving as a physics teacher, coach, and building administrator," said Senator Brenner. "As Superintendent of Public Instruction for Ohio, Mr. Craft was vital in ensuring Ohio's 1.6 million students had access well-qualified teachers with the necessary character and judgement to prepare the next generation of leaders. I know he will bring the same guidance and dedication to the Department of War Education Activity as he had serving Ohio."

Paul Craft served in the Ohio Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Colonel after serving 31 years including two tours of active duty following the September 11th attacks. Mr. Craft served in various educational roles in Delaware County, including 11 years as local superintendent.
