Senator Brenner Honors Worthington Christian Boys Soccer State Champions

COLUMBUS—State Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) honored the Worthington Christian Boys Soccer Team in the Ohio Senate for winning the OHSAA Division IV State Championship.

"This is an accomplished group of student-athletes," said Senator Brenner. "Their hard work and dedication has resulted in an achievement that their school and community can celebrate with pride. I look forward to watching these students have even greater success both on and off the pitch."

The Worthington Christian Warriors defeated the Bay Village Rockets 2-1 in overtime for their fourth state title. They were led in their championship winning season by head coach Dan Roads.
