Roegner: Ohio Launches Website to Help Public Cut Red Tape
COLUMBUS-State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) Roegner is applauding the unveiling today of the Cut Red Tape Ohio website as a significant campaign promise kept and a major win for Ohio. The website will give the public a say on how to best cut and reform unnecessary government regulations that too-often frustrate both consumers and businesses. Creation of the website was mandated by Senate Bill 9, co-sponsored by Roegner.

Historic Tax Cuts Lead to More Tax Revenue for Ohio
COLUMBUS-State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) said today she is thrilled to see state tax revenue has significantly increased following historic tax cuts for Ohio's working men and women, and small businesses. The state collected $54.2 million from income taxes in August, which was 6.8 percent more than was projected. Overall, Ohio collected 3.4 percent more tax revenue last month than was expected. Total tax collections for this fiscal year are $4.5 billion, almost 2 percent more than anticipated.

Roegner Attends Dedication of "Army Sgt. Vernon R. Judd Memorial Highway"

Out-of-State Doctors Begin Applying to Practice in Ohio Thanks to Roegner Bill

Senate Passes Roegner Bill to Attract Skilled Workers to Ohio
COLUMBUS - By a unanimous vote of 31-to-0, the Ohio Senate today passed a bill cosponsored by State Senators Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) and Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) that will allow out-of-state licensees in good standing to obtain an Ohio license to practice their profession. Senate Bill 131 will promote economic growth in Ohio by removing unnecessary licensure hurdles and welcoming skilled workers to our state. It will also provide Ohio businesses with more of the skilled labor necessary to compete at a national level, and provide underserved areas with increased access to trained professionals.

Roegner Bill to Increase Access to Mental Health Care Heads to Governor's Desk
COLUMBUS-The state legislature today passed Senator Kristina Roegner's (R-Hudson) bill to help increase access to mental health care in Ohio, and it is now on its way to the governor's desk to be signed into law. Senate Bill 204 enters Ohio into the Counseling Compact, which will allow all licensed mental health counselors to practice in member states, either in person or via telehealth.
