COLUMBUS-State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) on Monday was sworn in by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judith L. French, to serve his first full four-year term as Senator for Ohio's 7th Senate District. Wilson was previously appointed to serve the remainder of the term of former State Senator Shannon Jones, who now serves as Warren County Commissioner.

Joint Committee Releases Recommendations on College Affordability
COLUMBUS-State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville), chairman of the Joint Committee on Ohio College Affordability, released a new reportcontaining recommendations to address the cost of higher education. The committee was created in House Bill 49, which also doubled the income tax deduction for college savings to $4,000 annually.
